A Partnership to Expand Higher Education Opportunities: Seneca College to Establish New Branch in Cairo
Montreal, Quebec, September 19, 2024 – The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in Canada proudly announces the signing of an agreement between CIRA Education Group and Seneca College, marking an important milestone in the expansion of international education opportunities. This agreement enables Seneca College, a leading educational institution in Canada, to establish a new branch in Cairo, Egypt. The signing ceremony took place in Montreal on September 19, 2024.
The newly established Seneca College Cairo campus is set to begin welcoming students for the 2025-2026 academic year. The initial enrollment is projected to be approximately 700 students, with anticipated annual growth of 15% in enrollment numbers in the years to come. This initiative represents a significant step forward in providing accessible, high-quality education to Egyptian students while fostering strong educational ties between Canada and Egypt.
Seneca College Cairo branch will offer a range of high-demand programs, including associate and bachelor’s degrees in Business, Nursing, and Information Technology. The collaboration with CIRA Education Group, a well-established educational organization in Egypt, will ensure that Seneca’s renowned academic standards and student-centered learning approach are brought to Cairo.
