Highlights from the participation of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Counselor and Head of the Educational Mission in Montreal, Canada, in the art and cultural exhibition “Beyond Time,” organized by MasCan under the leadership of Dr. Mireille Wassef and Dr. Rami Boutros. The exhibition featured artist Amy Eskandar with a collection of works entitled “Persona,” alongside artist Mina Safwat, who presented a collection of paintings entitled “Limbo.”
The event was also honored by the presence of H.E. Ambassador Nabil Mekky, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Montreal, and his spouse, as well as Mr. Sherif Erfan, Commercial Counselor of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Montreal, together with members of the Egyptian and Arab communities and a number of Canadian friends. The exhibition also featured a special display of Egyptian archaeological replicas inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization, in addition to offering visitors a virtual reality (VR) experience on the sidelines of the event, adding a distinctive interactive and cultural dimension to the exhibition. This participation comes within the framework of supporting Egypt’s cultural presence and strengthening cultural and artistic engagement with Canadian society.
جانب من مشاركة الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد جابر، المستشار الثقافي ومدير البعثة التعليمية بمونتريال – كندا، في المعرض الفني والثقافي “ما وراء الزمن ، والذي نظمته جمعية MasCan برئاسة الدكتورة/ ميراي واصف والدكتور/ رامي بطرس. وشهد المعرض مشاركة الفنانة إيمي إسكندر من خلال مجموعة أعمال فنية تحت عنوان “Persona”، إلى جانب الفنان مينا صفوت الذي قدم مجموعة من اللوحات تحت عنوان
“Limbo”
كما شرف الفعالية سعادة السفير نبيل مكي، القنصل العام لجمهورية مصر العربية في مونتريال والسيدة حرمه، والأستاذ/ شريف عرفان، المستشار التجاري لجمهورية مصر العربية في مونتريال، إلى جانب نخبة من أبناء الجالية المصرية والعربية وعدد من الأصدقاء الكنديين. وتضمن المعرض أيضًا ركنًا لعرض VRمجموعة من المستنسخات الأثرية المصرية المستوحاة من الحضارة الفرعونية، فضلًا عن إتاحة تجربة الواقع الافتراضي
للزوار على هامش الفعالية، بما أضفى بعدًا تفاعليًا وثقافيًا مميزًا على المعرض. ويأتي ذلك في إطار دعم الحضور الثقافي المصري وتعزيز التواصل الثقافي والفني مع المجتمع الكندي
