Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the participation of Professor Dr. Hossam Osman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and His Excellency Ambassador Nabil Habashy, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs, and at the invitation of Dr. Mohamed Attallah, Vice President of New York University and President of the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada, Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Counselor and Head of the Educational Mission in Montreal, Canada, participated via the Zoom application in the opening of the fifty-second edition of the annual international conference of the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada.
The conference was held at Badr University in Cairo under the title: “Leadership in Driving Egypt’s Economic Growth through Innovation and the Transformation of the Healthcare Sector.” The conference witnessed the participation of approximately 21 scientists from the United States and 14 scientists from Canada. During his speech, Dr. Ahmed Gaber reviewed the pivotal role played by the Cultural Office in Montreal, in cooperation with Egyptian professors in Canada, in strengthening frameworks for fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Canada in the fields of education and scientific research.
برعاية معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الأستاذ الدكتور محمد أيمن عاشور، وبمشاركة كلٍ من الأستاذ الدكتور حسام عثمان نائب وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، وسعادة السفير نبيل حبشي نائب وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج، وبدعوة من الدكتور محمد عطا الله نائب رئيس جامعة نيويورك ورئيس رابطة العلماء المصريين بأمريكا وكندا، شارك الدكتور أحمد جابر المستشار الثقافي ومدير البعثة التعليمية بمونتريال – كندا، عبر تطبيق «زووم»، في افتتاح النسخة الثانية والخمسين من المؤتمر الدولي السنوي لرابطة العلماء المصريين بأمريكا وكندا، والذي عُقد بجامعة بدر بالقاهرة تحت عنوان: “الريادة في دفع النمو الاقتصادي لمصر من خلال الابتكار وتحويل قطاع الرعاية الصحية”. وشهد المؤتمر مشاركة نحو 21 عالمًا من الولايات المتحدة و14 عالمًا من كندا. وخلال كلمته، استعرض الدكتور أحمد جابر الدور المحوري الذي يضطلع به المكتب الثقافي في مونتريال، بالتعاون مع الأساتذة المصريين في كندا، في تعزيز أطر التعاون المثمر بين مصر وكندا في مجالي التعليم والبحث العلمي
