As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and research ties between Egyptian and Canadian institutions, Professor Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Counselor and Head of the Egyptian Educational Mission in Canada, met today with Professor Dr. Mohamed Nasr Eldin Demir, former President of Alexandria University and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alexandria National University. He was accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Demir, a researcher at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). The meeting focused on exploring potential avenues of collaboration between the Egyptian Cultural Office in Canada and Alexandria National University. Discussions emphasized the importance of academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and institutional partnerships—particularly in the fields of scientific research, technological development, and faculty and student mobility. Professor Gaber expressed the office’s commitment to supporting academic initiatives that foster global collaboration and enhance the capabilities of Egyptian universities. He also commended the role of Alexandria National University in advancing higher education and research in Egypt.
في إطار دعم العلاقات الأكاديمية والبحثية بين المؤسسات التعليمية في مصر وكندا، استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد جابر، المستشار الثقافي ومدير البعثة التعليمية بجمهورية مصر العربية في كندا، اليوم، الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد نصر الدين دمير، رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية الأسبق ورئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة الإسكندرية الأهلية، وذلك برفقة الدكتور/ أحمد دمير، الباحث في مركز البحوث الكندي (NRC). شهد اللقاء مناقشة آفاق التعاون المشترك بين المكتب الثقافي وجامعة الإسكندرية الأهلية، بما يسهم في تعزيز التبادل العلمي والأكاديمي، وتوسيع فرص الشراكة مع المؤسسات الكندية، لا سيما في مجالات البحث العلمي، والتطوير التكنولوجي، وتبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس. وأكد الدكتور/ أحمد جابر خلال اللقاء حرص المكتب الثقافي على دعم المبادرات الأكاديمية التي تفتح آفاقًا جديدة أمام الجامعات المصرية للاستفادة من الخبرات العالمية، مشيدًا بالدور المتنامي لجامعة الإسكندرية الأهلية في النهوض بالتعليم الجامعي والبحث العلمي
