With the support and follow-up of the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in Montreal, Alexandria University and Canada’s McMaster University have signed an academic agreement for undergraduate students in Business Administration under a 2+2 program.
The agreement reflects the directives of Professor Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, and Professor Ghada Abdel Bari, Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector, to internationalize Egyptian higher education and expand academic and research partnerships with Canadian universities.
The Bureau followed up and coordinated the development of the agreement. It enables Egyptian students enrolled in the program to complete their first two years at Alexandria University and their next two years at McMaster University .
Following the completion of technical discussions and the required approvals, the agreement was signed today at Alexandria University.

وتأتي هذه الاتفاقية في إطار توجيهات الأستاذ الدكتور عبد العزيز قنصوة، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والقائم بعمل وزير الثقافة، والأستاذة الدكتورة غادة عبد الباري، رئيس قطاع الشؤون الثقافية والبعثات، بشأن تدويل التعليم العالي المصري والتوسع في الشراكات الأكاديمية والبحثية مع الجامعات الكندية
وقد تابع المكتب ونسّق جهود إعداد الاتفاقية، التي تتيح للطالب المصري الملتحق بالبرنامج دراسة العامين الأولين في جامعة الإسكندرية، ثم استكمال العامين التاليين في جامعة ماكماستر
وبعد استكمال المناقشات الفنية واستيفاء الموافقات اللازمة، وقّع الطرفان الاتفاقية اليوم بمقر جامعة الإسكندرية
