As part of its ongoing support for Egyptian students abroad, the Egyptian Students’ Union at McGill University organized an open forum with Egyptian professionals working at some of the world’s leading companies, including Google, PwC, Schneider Electric, EllisDon, Smardt, ABB, and EBC. The event brought together a large number of Egyptian students at McGill, alongside distinguished professionals, who shared their insights and real-world experiences about the work environment and career opportunities in global firms.
In his remarks, Professor Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Counsellor, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preparing students for the realities and challenges of the job market after graduation. He encouraged students to maximize the benefits of the forum by asking questions, building professional networks, and learning about the key skills and qualifications sought by international employers. The Cultural Counsellor concluded by wishing all students continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
في إطار حرص المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بمونتريال على دعم طلاب الجامعات المصريين بالخارج، نظم اتحاد الطلاب المصريين بجامعة ماكجيل لقاءً مفتوحًا مع نخبة من المصريين العاملين بكبرى الشركات العالمية في كندا، من بينها: Google, PwC, Schneider Electric,EllisDon,Smardt,ABB,EBC . شهد اللقاء حضورًا مميزًا من الطلاب المصريين بالجامعة، إلى جانب عدد من الخبراء والمهنيين المصريين العاملين في تلك الشركات، حيث تبادلوا خبراتهم العملية وقدموا صورة واقعية عن طبيعة ومناخ العمل داخل المؤسسات العالمية
وخلال كلمته، أكد الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد جابر، المستشار الثقافي، على أهمية هذه الفعاليات في تعريف الطلاب بالتحديات الحقيقية التي تواجههم في سوق العمل بعد التخرج، داعيًا إياهم إلى الاستفادة القصوى من اللقاء عبر طرح الأسئلة، وبناء شبكة علاقات مهنية، والتعرف على أهم المتطلبات التي تبحث عنها الشركات العالمية عند توظيف الكوادر الجديدة. وفي ختام اللقاء، أعرب المستشار الثقافي عن تمنياته لجميع الطلاب المصريين بالتوفيق والنجاح في مسيرتهم الأكاديمية والمهنية مستقبلًا
