Under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Head of the Scholarships and Cultural Representation Sector, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in Montreal, Canada, has successfully played a pivotal role in coordinating a strategic partnership between CIRA Education, the largest private-sector company providing integrated educational services in the Egyptian market, through its academic arm, Badr University, and Ontario Tech University, one of Canada’s leading higher education institutions.
This partnership aims to launch accredited Canadian master’s degree programs in Egypt across a number of critical engineering disciplines, including Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Nuclear Engineering, in line with the latest global scientific and technological advancements. The partnership also encompasses a range of academic cooperation initiatives, including faculty and student exchange programs, the organization of joint scientific events and conferences, and the development of short-term academic programs designed to enhance human capital and support applied scientific research.
As part of future expansion plans, the partnership seeks to establish new branches of Ontario Tech University in East Cairo and Damietta, subject to obtaining the required official approvals from the relevant authorities. This strategic step is expected to broaden access to world-class engineering master’s programs within Egypt, enabling a wider segment of students to benefit from the advanced curricula adopted by Ontario Tech University, while further strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for high-quality higher education aligned with the highest international standards.
تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، والأستاذ الدكتور رئيس قطاع البعثات والتمثيل الثقافي، نجح مكتب مصر للعلاقات الثقافية والتعليمية بمونتريال – كندا في القيام بدور محوري في التنسيق لإبرام شراكة استراتيجية بين شركة سيرا للتعليم، أكبر شركة قطاع خاص في مجال الخدمات التعليمية المتكاملة بالسوق المصرية و من خلال ذراعها الأكاديمي جامعة بدر، وبين جامعة أونتاريو تك الكندية، إحدى أبرز المؤسسات التعليمية في كندا
وتهدف هذه الشراكة إلى إطلاق برامج ماجستير كندية معتمدة داخل مصر في عدد من التخصصات الهندسية الحيوية، من بينها: هندسة الميكاترونكس، والهندسة الكهربائية، وهندسة البرمجيات، وهندسة السيارات، والهندسة النووية، بما يواكب أحدث التطورات العلمية والتكنولوجية العالمية. كما تتضمن الشراكة تنفيذ مجموعة من برامج التعاون الأكاديمي، تشمل تبادل الخبرات بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب، وتنظيم الفعاليات والمؤتمرات العلمية المشتركة، إلى جانب تطوير برامج أكاديمية قصيرة المدى تسهم في رفع كفاءة الكوادر البشرية ودعم البحث العلمي التطبيقي
وفي إطار التوسع المستقبلي، تستهدف الشراكة افتتاح فروع جديدة لجامعة أونتاريو تك في منطقتي شرق القاهرة ودمياط، وذلك عقب الحصول على الموافقات الرسمية اللازمة من الجهات المختصة. ومن المتوقع أن تسهم هذه الخطوة الاستراتيجية في إتاحة فرص أوسع للالتحاق ببرامج الماجستير الهندسية ذات الجودة العالمية داخل مصر، مع الاستفادة من المناهج المتطورة التي تعتمدها جامعة أونتاريو تك، بما يعزز مكانة مصر كمركز إقليمي للتعليم العالي المتميز والمتوافق مع أعلى المعايير الدولية
