As part of the Egyptian Cultural Bureau in Canada’s efforts to highlight the achievements of Ancient Egyptian civilization in various scientific fields, Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Counselor and Director of the Egyptian Educational Mission in Canada, met with Dr. Hedy Adel, a specialist in Ancient Egyptian medicine. During the meeting, arrangements were made to organize a virtual public lecture hosted by the Bureau, in which Dr. Adel will present insights into medicine in Ancient Egypt and compare it with modern medical practices. The lecture aims to shed light on the remarkable medical advancements achieved by the Ancient Egyptians and their contribution to laying the foundations of many medical sciences. The Cultural Bureau invites all those interested to attend this unique academic event. The date and details of the lecture will be announced soon.
في إطار اهتمام المكتب الثقافي المصري بكندا بإبراز دور الحضارة المصرية القديمة ومكانتها في شتى المجالات العلمية، التقى الدكتور أحمد جابر – المستشار الثقافي ومدير البعثة التعليمية بكندا – بالدكتورة هايدي عادل، المتخصصة في الطب عند المصريين القدماء. وخلال اللقاء تم الترتيب لعقد محاضرة افتراضية عامة عبر المكتب، تقدمها الدكتورة هايدي، تتناول فيها الطب عند المصري القديم ومقارنته بالطب الحديث المطبق حاليًا، وذلك لإلقاء الضوء على مدى التقدم الطبي الذي بلغه المصري القديم، ودوره في وضع الأسس الأولى للعديد من العلوم الطبية. ويدعو المكتب الثقافي جميع المهتمين بمتابعة هذا اللقاء العلمي المتميز، الذي سيتم الإعلان عن موعده وتفاصيله قريبًا
