On Sunday morning [20 / 7 / 2025], at 8:00 a.m. Montreal time, a formal meeting was held between Prof. Dr. Ahmed Gaber – Cultural Counselor and Director of the Egyptian Educational Mission in Canada, Prof. Dr. Rafiq Goubran – Vice President of Carleton University for Research and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel – Vice President of Port Said University for Community Service and Environmental Development affairs, and the official in charge of the university’s international cooperation. The meeting was also attended by the team from the International Relations Office of Port Said University.
The discussions focused on exploring avenues for joint scientific and educational cooperation between the two universities, including the development of joint academic programs, and student exchange and training opportunities.
This meeting comes as part of Port Said University’s ongoing efforts to build strategic partnerships with internationally recognized academic institutions, with the aim of advancing education, scientific research, and community service.

تناول اللقاء بحث سبل التعاون العلمي والتعليمي بين جامعة بورسعيد وجامعة كارلتون، حيث تمت مناقشة عدد من المحاور المشتركة من بينها تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية المشتركة، بالإضافة إلى فرص التبادل الطلابي والتدريب
يأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار جهود جامعة بورسعيد للانفتاح على المؤسسات الأكاديمية الدولية، وتفعيل شراكات استراتيجية مع الجامعات العالمية المرموقة، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى التعليم والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع
