The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Relations Office in Canada participated in the opening ceremony of the two Egyptian pavilions at the International Tourism and Travel Exhibition in Montreal 2025. The Egyptian participation was organized by the Egyptian Canadian Business Network (ECBN), headed by Mr. Adel Boulos, alongside another pavilion by Voyages MiaTerra, managed by Mrs. Névine Nessim. Both pavilions stood out with their exceptional designs that captured visitors’ attention and beautifully highlighted Egypt’s rich cultural and touristic identity. The exhibition was inaugurated by His Excellency Ambassador Nabil Mekki, Consul General of Egypt in Montreal, who officially cut the ribbon to launch the event. The opening was attended by Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Egyptian Cultural Attaché, and his wife, as well as Mr. Sherif Erfan, Commercial Attaché, along with distinguished members of the Egyptian community and public figures from Canadian society. The event also featured a lecture and a documentary film about the Grand Egyptian Museum’s inauguration, aiming to shed light on Egypt as a leading global tourist destination, rich in history and civilization.
شارك مكتب مصر للعلاقات الثقافية والتعليمية في كندا في افتتاح الجناحين المصريين الممثلين في معرض السياحة والسفر الدولي بمونتريال لعام 2025. وجاءت المشاركة المصرية بتنظيم من الجمعية المصرية الكندية لرجال الأعمال برئاسة الأستاذ عادل بولس، إلى جانب جناح آخر لشركة للسياحة التي تديرها السيدة نيفين نسيم، حيث قدّم الجناحان تصميماً متميزاً جذب أنظار الزوار وأبرز الهوية الثقافية والسياحية لمصر. حيث قام سعادة السفير نبيل مكي، قنصل مصر العام في مونتريال، بافتتاح المعرض وقص الشريط إيذاناً بانطلاق الفعاليات، وذلك بحضور الدكتور أحمد جابر، الملحق الثقافي المصري، و السيدة حرمه، والسيد شريف عرفان، الملحق التجاري، إلى جانب نخبة من رموز الجالية المصرية وشخصيات عامة من المجتمع الكندي. تخلل الحدث عرض محاضرة وفيلم تسجيلي حول افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير، بهدف تسليط الضوء على مصر كوجهة سياحية عالمية غنية بالتاريخ والحضارة
