As part of efforts to strengthen academic relations between educational institutions in Egypt and Canada, Professor Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Cultural Attaché and Director, met with Dr. Mathieu Ouimet, Professor of International Law at Université Laval, at the Government offices in Quebec City. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for academic cooperation between Université Laval and Egyptian universities, with particular emphasis on knowledge exchange in the field of international law, opportunities for student and faculty exchange, and the potential development of joint academic and research programs. Also in attendance were Ms. Charlie Martineau and Mr. François Saint-Laurent Ross, representatives of the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie.
في إطار تعزيز العلاقات الأكاديمية بين المؤسسات التعليمية في مصر وكندا، التقى الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد جابر، الملحق الثقافي ومدير البعثة التعليمية بجمهورية مصر العربية في كندا، مع الدكتور/ ماثيو أويمت، أستاذ القانون الدولي بجامعة لافال، وذلك بمقر الحكومة في مدينة كيبيك. تناول اللقاء بحث آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي بين جامعة لافال والجامعات المصرية، مع التركيز على تبادل الخبرات في مجالات التعليم والبحث العلمي، خاصة في تخصصات القانون الدولي، إضافة إلى مناقشة فرص التبادل الطلابي والأكاديمي، وإمكانية تنفيذ برامج مشتركة بين الجانبين. وقد شارك في الاجتماع كل من السيدة/ تشارلي مارتينو، والسيد/ فرانسوا سانت لوران روس، ممثلي وزارة العلاقات الدولية والفرانكوفونية بحكومة كيبيك
